The living storybook

Your family's stories gathered into chapters that write themselves — and grow every time someone records.

What it is

Every story, arranged into chapters by where and when it happened, with photos and the audio itself. Chapter titles are drawn from the real places and years in your archive — never invented. Record a new story and the book reshapes around it.

How to use it

  1. 1Open Storybook from the menu.
  2. 2Read straight through, or jump by chapter.
  3. 3Switch language at any point — the original voice stays.
  4. 4Share a view-only link with anyone.

A family who used it

The Alvarez storybook opens in 1950s Oaxaca and ends with a grandchild born last spring. Nobody sat down to write it. It assembled itself out of twenty recordings made over eighteen months.

Good to know

Do I have to organise it?

No. Chapters form from the places and dates already attached to your stories.

Can I hold a story back?

Yes — each story has a toggle for whether it belongs in the book.
