What it is
Phone calls are coming soon — we're finishing carrier verification. Everything else records today. The people whose stories matter most often won't touch an app. So Kinrelic calls them — at a time you choose — asks a warm question in a friendly voice, and listens. Their answer is transcribed, translated, and saved automatically. Works on any phone, landline or mobile.
How to use it
- 1Add the phone interviewer add-on and give your storyteller's phone number (with their okay).
- 2Choose the day, time, and how often to call.
- 3Each call becomes a saved story — you do nothing.
A family who used it
Maria's dad is 84, in Guadalajara, and has never opened an app in his life. Every Sunday morning, Kinrelic calls him. He tells one story. By Monday it's transcribed, translated to English for his grandkids, and woven into the family film. Maria did nothing — and she has fifty of his stories now.
Good to know
Do they need a smartphone?
No. Any phone works — including a landline.
Is it intrusive?
You set the schedule and they can say "stop" on any call. It only calls with consent.
