Download your original recordings anytime, on any plan.
What it is
You can export your original videos, photos and recipes at any time while your plan is active. The living experience — storybook, cookbook, film, tree, transcripts — lives online while you're a member. Because your originals are always downloadable, we don't store them indefinitely after a plan ends (see 'What if I stop paying?').
How to use it
- 1Open the account menu or Settings.
- 2Choose Export.
- 3Download your originals & recipes as a .zip.
A family who used it
The family wanted to know the videos of Grandpa were theirs to keep — so they exported a copy to their own drive. One download, any time your plan is active.

What can I export?
Your raw original videos, photos, and recipes, as a .zip. (Transcripts, translations, and the storybook/cookbook stay online, view-only.)
What if I stop paying?
You enter a grace period with plenty of reminders. Transcripts & translations are removed 30 days after your plan ends; your original videos, photos & recipes are removed 60 days after. Export them any time before then, or reactivate to keep everything. We don't keep your files indefinitely after a plan ends — they're always yours to download first.
