Recordings you already have
Voicemails, voice notes and clips from other people's phones — added several at a time, and transcribed.
What it is
Not everything worth keeping is something you record from here. A saved voicemail, a voice note, ninety seconds of video somebody took at a wedding — add as many at once as you like. Each becomes its own story with a transcript, so you can find the words later even when the audio is hard to make out.
How to use it

- 2Choose the files — several at a time is fine.
- 3Say whose they are, if you know.
- 4They upload, transcribe, and appear in your stories.
A family who used it
After his father died, Sam asked the family to check their phones for saved voicemails. Four people found one. The oldest was eleven seconds of “all right, ring me back” — and it is the one his sister plays.
Good to know
What kinds of file?
Audio or video. Voicemails exported from a phone often have no file type at all, and those work too.
Can other people add theirs?
Yes — send them a record link and they can upload straight from it, with no account and nothing to install.
