Ask a question and hear the answer in their own recorded words — never invented, only found.
What it is
Ask something like “what did you do after the war?” and Kinrelic finds the moment in their recordings where they answered it, and plays it. It never generates speech and never puts words in their mouth: if they did not say it, you get nothing.
How to use it

- 4Listen to the passage, in their voice.
A family who used it
A granddaughter asks how her grandfather proposed. The answer is ninety seconds of him laughing about a bus stop in 1961 — recorded three years before he died, and found in eleven hours of tape she would never have combed through.
Good to know
Is this an AI pretending to be them?
No — emphatically. It only ever plays back what they genuinely recorded. Nothing is synthesised.
Can it be turned off?
Yes, and it is off until the storyteller consents.
